How old do you need to be to be adjusted?

This is a common question we get and the answer may surprise you.
At our office we care for everyone that comes into our doors as family. We strive to help as many people as possible live the life they deserve. No matter what age, everyone has a spine and nerve system. I encourage everyone I know and their family to be checked by a Chiropractor.

How do we honor our past?



How did the Native Americans pass on their traditions, customs and heritage? They told stories of truth, honor, bravery and peace.

How will Chiropractors honor our past? Do we advertise massage or foot baths to get people in the door and they say “while you’re here, let’s check your back too”? Do we say anything but Chiropractic and not talk about the devastating effects of Subluxation?

We are committed to telling the truth and telling the story. SEVEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY (760) Chiropractors went to jail for the principles of Chiropractic. They didn’t go to jail for giving foot baths without a license. We must honor and remember those who came before us and paved the way so we can serve Chiropractic today. This is why we are choosing to tell the story, tell the truth and serve with purpose.

I am Proud to BE a Chiropractor. Our office checks for, adjusts and corrects Subluxation. Period. That is why those 760 went to jail and we are honoring them by serving humanity as Chiropractic was intended.

Your Beliefs Really Do Dictate Your Behavior: Here’s Why!

One of my Great Mentors, Dr. David Jackson, has said it hundreds of times. ‘Your beliefs, whether true or not and whether you have consciously thot about them or not, dictate your behaviors.’

What he means is that even if the belief is false and has no backing whatsoever it will still cause you to behave in a certain way if you ALLOW it to guide your actions. Likewise even if you have not consciously thot about the belief, it will still guide your actions because subconsciously your mind has ALLOWED it to become a standard by which you make decisions.


So how do we change this? Make a list of all of your fears, regrets, doubts, and all the beliefs that you hold strongly to. Then look at everything you have written down and see how those beliefs have guided your life to today. Are you happy with where things are or would you like them to be different? If different then what beliefs would you need to hold in order for you to have the life you want? Begin to change how you look at life and make daily decisions by using these new beliefs to guide your actions. You will be amazed at how your life changes when you CHOOSE to make it what YOU want it to be!

What Does It Mean to Be Healthy?



Ask anyone who has had an auto accident and lost a limb. Ask anyone who has suffered a heart attack or life threatening disease. Ask the mother of a child with a chronic illness. What would they give to be healthy? Not just ‘not sick’, but TRULY healthy? So healthy that they KNOW without a doubt that their body is functioning at it’s absolute best at all times. Would they not give everything they had to experience this for themselves or their loved ones? Of course! Who in their right mind would not want this?
 
Then why do so many people suffer from so many health issues? I know the answer. Because THEY CHOOSE TO! Yes, they choose to suffer with these issues. 98% of sickness and disease are directly caused by lifestyle CHOICES. This means that each day people decide to be sick or to be healthy by the lifestyle choices they make.


Thats why I have 3 Rules to live by:

1. Eat Well – Choose to eat mostly fruits, veggies, lean meats, nuts and seeds, and clean water. The saying goes, “If you didn’t pull it off of a tree, out of the ground, or kill it yourself you probably shouldn’t eat it!”

2. Move Well – First, choose to get your spine checked so that it moves properly and doesn’t disturb the delicate nerves that it is designed to protect. Second, choose to get some kind of exercise in daily, whether that is walking, running, lifting, biking or swimming. Movement recharges your brain’s battery and strengthens your body.

3. Think Well – Choose to be the best you possible as soon as you wake up each day. By choosing to take control of your day you stop reacting to events and circumstances and start living the life you CHOOSE to live.
